Google Analytics
You probably have a wealth of data about what your users are doing when they arrive on your website, but are you using this data to its full potential? We know getting Google Analytics set up can be tricky to get everything you need to make sense of what users are doing. One of the first things we would look to do is a full audit and configuration of your existing analytics set up to ensure that your data is clean, accurate and insightful.
User testing
Through analysing the data, we can identify areas on your site where there are large drop-offs and need improvement by wireframing new versions. We can take these through small rounds of user testing with your audience groups to understand if the proposed solutions are right for them. This gives the confidence that what is being built will be right and based on research.
A/B testing
There are times when there are multiple versions of a solution which test well, or it could be a simple change such as changing the order of a page, and we need to get quantitative data to understand which version will perform the best. A/B testing allows us to test these variations and see which will have the greatest impact on conversion.
Process we take
1. Planning
At the beginning of any project, we want to understand your world and the challenges you are facing. We also want to understand the world of the different audience groups and how they engage with you. Once we have this insight we can begin the evaluation.
2. Competitive Analysis
Taking the different audience groups which have been identified we would look to analyse your site along with competitors in the market to understand how you benchmark against the competition.
3. Report creation
Once we have gathered all our findings we would look to conduct a heuristic evaluation to measure and provide recommendations on how the site or app could be improved. This would always have the user at the forefront.
4. Report delivery
All findings and recommendations are prioritised in a report which is presented back and discussed. By prioritising recommendations, you will have a clear roadmap of improvements which can be made and have the biggest impact for your users.
